Licensure steps

  1. Earn a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited (or equivalent) psychology program.
  2. Complete 2,000 hours of doctoral internship experience.
  3. Complete 2,000 hours of postdoctoral residency (≥900 hours direct client contact).
  4. Pass the EPPP with a scaled score of 500.
  5. Pass the Florida Laws and Rules Examination and complete electronic fingerprinting.
  6. Apply to the Florida Board of Psychology (Department of Health).
