Licensure steps
Verified Jul 15, 2026- Earn a qualifying doctoral degree with a formal internship of at least 1,750 hours.
- Pass the EPPP with a scaled score of 500.
- Pass the Texas Jurisprudence Examination (90%).
- Complete at least 1,750 hours of supervised experience after the doctoral degree.
- Apply to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (BHEC).
